Empowering South Asian Women
We provide accurate reproductive and sexual health resources and community workshops to ensure every South Asian woman in Toronto has the knowledge and support she deserves.
Rising South is founded through the Pathy Foundation Fellowship and led by Farifta Rahman, a Bangladeshi-Canadian based in Toronto.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to ensuring that every South Asian woman in Toronto has access to accurate, culturally grounded reproductive health information. Our mission is to reduce stigma, break generational cycles of misinformation, and support prevention-focused care so we can better understand our bodies and what they are trying to tell us.
